11 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (29 Sep)
10. Three Men Went To Squash
Did Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, and Darby Allin need to squash Bear Country and Anthony Greene on last night's Dynamite? Not necessarily, and the show wouldn't have been much weaker without it, but the match was a blast nonetheless and allowed the babyfaces to honour Brodie Lee themselves once business was concluded.
Bear Country had some fun spots manhandling Moxley, Kingston, and Allin with their beefy double-teams. Bears Bronson and Boulder, along with Greene, got enough in defeat to ensure they didn't look like total geeks, and popping sequences like Moxley's German Suplex on big Boulder and Darby's Coffin Drop onto a pile of humanity outside the ring kept the crowd's energy flowing.
Kingston and Mox's Violent Crown finished Green off. They celebrated with "BRODIE LEE" signs afterwards, as Sting pulled the greatest facial expression seen since Kenny Omega's 2020 destruction of Sonny Kiss as he dropped Greene for good measure. A fun ride designed to put a smile on your face, pal, this hit the spot.
