11 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Jun 14 - Review)

5. The Finest In-Ring Performer In The World...And Zack Sabre Jr

Orange Cassidy Zack Sabre Jr
AEW

Orange Cassidy and Zack Sabre Jr set the table for yet another tantalising Forbidden Door offering as the two came face-to-face and belt-to-belt in a knowing backstage segment that got away with how contrived it was for the outcomes and the quality of the bullsh*t on display.

An exasperated Cassidy stood alongside new best bud Renee Paquette wearily awaiting his next interruption, and was duly rewarded with ZSJ barging into shot to call him "Orange B*llocks" and pave the way to the pay-per-view. Daniel Garcia was none-too-pleased with this and also had strong words for ROH Pure Champion Katsoyori Shibata.

'Freshly Squeezed' knows fightin' words when he hears 'em, but in his typically sardonic fashion just put the tag team match together on the spot for next week's Dynamite. Not one but two potentially great singles matches appear certain to occur off the back of a very-AEW tag team affair en route. This particular Dynamite fostered so much about what people love about Tony Khan's booking that it was almost too easy to overlook these developments. The four wrestlers won't care about that when they're kicking the a*se out of their tag match next week.
