NXT donated a whopping 24:06 to a blinding battle between The Kabuki Warriors and the team of Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai, but not a second felt wasted in this pulsating clash. A new high point for the Women's Tag Team Championships, this over-delivered on lofty expectations.

Asuka was even more than an 'Empress' upon her Full Sail return. Smartly kept separate from Shayna Baszler to avoid that possible future feud, she was one of the biggest stars on a night bursting with them, and celebrated her return by battering the f*ck out of the very game and hugely sympathetic babyfaces.

Kai was awesome here - selling everything like near-death, her quickfire kick-laden comeback was delicious and almost drove an unlikely change before the devastating green mist was unleashed yet again.

An outstanding match featuring two outstanding acts on yet another outstanding show. What followed was somehow even better.
