11 Ups & 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (3 Sept)

5. Shinsuke Squashamura

Shinsuke Nakamura Jobber

Is Sami Zayn's hyperactive cheerleader act going to wear thin someday? It's very reminiscent of Lio Rush's character when he was paired with Bobby Lashley, which quickly wore out its welcome on Raw. Regardless, Zayn, in his current form, is the most gloriously dickish heel in the company, and watching/listening to him get all giddy and excited as Shinsuke Nakamura destroyed a jobber was as much fun as it was when 'The King of Strong Style' killed The Miz last week.

Nakamura squared off against someone looking suspiciously like a podgier version of your author in weird long-sleeve attire, making this a rather vicarious experience. Regardless, it was appropriately dominant. Nak beat the p*ss out of this poor, unfortunate baldy and put him away in less than two minutes, looking like a killer in the process. What more could anyone want?
