11 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Sep 9)

Ups...

11. Relentless/Reckless

Ricky Starks as Darby Allin
AEW

Ricky Starks is right about Darby Allin. While the daredevil crowd-pleaser has gotten over with what he calls "relentlessness," the guy is pretty bloody reckless. He leapt from a bridge in preparation for All Out's Casino Battle Royale and Team Taz's actions were a response to this, as Starks and Brian Cage filled a bodybag with thumbtacks, zipped Darby up, and launched him out of the ring.

'Absolute' cut a solid promo to this effect, beginning with his spot-on Allin impersonation. Ricky got serious soon after coming out to Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, fortunately, making this a fine way to rub salt in the wound while Darby is off television.
