11 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (24 Sept)
1. Brawl For All
Everything about the Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan storyline delivered last night, with the post-match angle the best thing on the whole show.
Rowan and Harper assaulted Bryan after the bell. They readied the announce desk to put Daniel through it, only for Reigns' music to hit. Out came 'The Big Dog.' He was typically explosive as he went after the former Bludgeon Brothers, nailing a Superman Punch on Rowan, then fell to the numbers game, only for a fired-up Bryan to jump right in, help Roman take care of business, and clear the ring.
Afterwards, Reigns offered Bryan his hand. Daniel swatted it away. Instead, he got up of his own accord, grabbed a microphone, and said that all he wanted was a one word answer: "do you want to see me and Roman kick their disrespecting asses?".
Cue: massive "yes!" chants.
Bryan not just taking Reigns' hand and suddenly being his pal after almost a year as one of the most obnoxious heels in the company was a smart move. It's more believable that way, though it could result in a miscommunication finish at Hell In A Cell.
