11 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Dec 4)
4. In The Clutch
As Mia Yim and Dakota Kai peeled off into the crowd, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir made their way to the ring for a taste of their own redemption for Ripley's double cage win.
Baszler was a brilliant sh*theel here - her proclamation that she wanted their title match just as much as Ripley herself felt just authentic enough despite the rank cowardice she'd shown getting her friends to ensure she dominated this particular square-off.
It was the first tease towards an extraordinary episode on December 18th too. The last live NXT of 2019 would gain greater traction later in the night, but few would argue this as its worth main event.
