11 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (May 12)
5. Three Long Years
Poor Rohit Raju.
He came to Impact Wrestling all the way back in 2017, and is yet to get his big break like everyone else around him. He made plenty of good points regarding his time spent in Impact. He doesn't have any t-shirts available for purchase, his face is yet to be featured on an event poster, management and fans both look at him like he's nothing more than a joke. All three are true points.
His fourth point, however, was of special interest. Rohit mentioned that there was no longer a Desi Hit Squad, but rather just himself as 'The Desi Hitman'. Does this mean the DHS is officially finished, or is it just for the time being until the world resumes its normality? Either way, Rohit needs to be distanced from the group. Gama Singh already has Raj Singh and Shera, who could easily be a powerhouse duo, so it was always weird that Raju and Raj were the tag team of the group while Shera got the singles run.
Here's hoping his loss to Trey in the ongoing tournament wasn't a major setback for Raju. He's more than deserving of that big singles push by now.
