11 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 24)
7. The Real World Champion
During Sami Callihan's pep talk with Ken Shamrock ahead of the Hall of Famer challenging Rich Swann for the World Championship in the main event, both 'The Draw' and 'The World's Most Dangerous Man' were interrupted by Moose. The reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion stated he had been planning to take out Swann himself had it not been for Callihan and Shamrock getting there first, while also claiming he wasn't afraid to repeat what he did to the recently-inducted Hall of Famer at Bound For Glory 2019.
Everything 'Mr Impact Wrestling' does these days is performed so exquisitely. From the sharp black suits to the opera sting at the top of his entrance track, Moose has drastically changed his character since the EC3 rivalry concluded last month. Even the simple things like having the history between Moose and Shamrock acknowledged made this segment that little bit more enjoyable.
As the weeks go by, it looks more and more likely we're being set up for an eventual title unification bout between Moose and Rich Swann, perhaps even as soon as Hard To Kill. If ever there was a time to position Moose as the top guy in the company, it's now.
