4. His Open Challenge

Just because Cena doesn't have the US Title any more, it doesn't mean that he can no longer do open challenges. Kurt Angle used to do "open invitational" matches all the time. It is a great gimmick for a veteran, plus, it gives a young up and comer a big stage opportunity. Cena is perfect for the old Angle gig. WWE would announce him for TLC, but not give his role away. He'd come out, stating that it is time for the next generation to start making their mark. He'd then announce the Cena Invitational, calling out any young kid who wants to make a name for themselves. This would be a great opportunity to debut someone from NXT. Finn Balor or Sami Zayn, perhaps? It would be a blockbuster return for Cena and a blockbuster start for an NXT wrestler.
