At the same time as things started floundering for Desmond Wolfe, they started exploding for the former Elijah Burke, D'Angelo Dinero.

The Pope was on fire, seemingly transforming overnight from a heel feuding with Suicide to the most on-fire babyface on the entire roster. Pope's congregation was growing quicker than Pope could print money.

All of which led to a feud with AJ Styles over the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Dinero defied the odds to get into the match, and everything seemed set for him to win the belt at Lockdown 2010. As it was, Styles won the match and that was that for Pope.

He would turn heel later in the year, going on to have ridiculous stories with Samoa Joe and Brother Devon. Another hot talent left by the wayside.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
