In the Stadium Stampede match, Kenny Omega and Hangman Page - two elite pro wrestlers with a professional chemistry so incredible that it tethered them together in spite of their personal differences - finally learned to embrace whatever their relationship was. They clinked drinks in a heartwarming sight gag.

But the milk and the whisky doubled as a visual reminder that they were two very different people fated to implode. The truce foreshadowed the break-up.

In a twee and irreverent hype-job broadcast on the exceptional Road To series - the Cleaner is unreal at cloaking his real intentions with a quotidian mask - Omega and Page built their match with the Best Friends at Fyter Fest. They engaged in breezy conversation with the slightest tinge of unease coursing through it. Omega negged Page, preying on his anxieties. "I can count the amount of drinking buddies you have on one hand," Omega said. Disguised as friendly banter, this was a rather cruel thing to say.

FTR sensed it, and at Fight For The Fallen, became Page's drinking buddies with a view to manipulating him and shattering the Elite from within.

With the sort of dispassionate aside that put it over all the more, for how callous it was, Omega foreshadowed two heel turns in one segment.
