11 WWE Divas Matches That Should Have Happened

4. Victoria Vs. Torrie Wilson For The First-Ever Divas Championship

Torrie Wilson Vs Victoria After the Divas Championship was created and won by Michelle McCool, it was revealed that the title was originally meant for ... Torrie Wilson! This is even more disappointing when we look back and see that the only reason why Torrie left WWE (and retired from wrestling after nearly a decade in the business) was because her doctors instructed her to do so because of a back injury. Furthermore, in 2004, Torrie (along with Sable, Nidia Guenard, and Dawn Marie Ronaldi) had been the original Divas that pitched the idea of bringing over a "Divas" Title to the SmackDown! brand, but were shot down and - allegedly - punished when complaining about having nothing to do. Had Torrie not suffered a back injury, she never would have retired in 2008. If the title had originally been meant for her, she would've been the babyface to have chased after it which meant that she would've needed a credible heel Diva to square off against. Victoria would've been the natural choice given the fact that they had been at odds with each other since the implosion of their faction "Vince's Devils." If these two ladies had battled over the Divas Title, the fans may have cared more about the match and the actual inception of the title compared to the lukewarm reception given when McCool battled Natalya Neidhart for the title at The Great American Bash. It also would've been logical to have had Torrie - one of WWE's all-time most popular women - lay down the foundation for the title that would go on to replace the lineage of the Women's Championship.
