11 WWE Poster Boys That Didn't Make The Pay-Per-View

2. R-Truth - Hell In A Cell 2013

To this day, can anyone give a compelling reason as to why R-Truth was on the poster for Hell in a Cell 2013? Not only that, but he was heavily showcased in the adverts for the show too. Why? There must be a decent reason. Truth hadn't had a singles match on PPV since December 2012 (Hell in a Cell was October).

Needless to say, Ronnie Killings didn't have a singles match on the Hell in a Cell PPV either. In fact, he wouldn't have another one until December that year either, when he bested poor ol' Brodus Clay.

Despite the ridiculousness of the campaign, the posters and adverts were pretty good. They should have followed it up with vignettes of Truth asking why he was on the poster.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
