I do love this poster. Look at that glum man, with his own blood crusting on his face as he contemplates his next sledgehammer victim. Well, either that or he was the last one notified of a night out and has begrudgingly gone along, although he will inevitably spend most of the night plotting the downfall of his chums.

Triple H had been out of action for months by the time Vengeance came around in 2001, as a result of the career-threatening injury he suffered on RAW back in May. On that night, Hunter teamed with Steve Austin to take on Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho in a match many regard as the finest in the history of the flagship show.

Hunter's left quadriceps didn't make the end of the match, however, deciding instead to remove itself from the bone, and that injury put him out until January 2002.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
