The Big Dog has all the tools necessary to be the next franchise star. He's got the look and style of a champion, plus his promos and especially his in-ring work have improved tremendously. He's already being used in key media and commercial roles, so it is just a natural progression that he now becomes Champion. The other option is Brock Lesnar, who is arguably the most over star in the company. However, Lesnar has been there and done it. There's far more to be gained from making Reigns the next Champ.
