John Cena is officially due back to WWE next Saturday for the house show at Madison Square Garden, but it really wouldn't be that surprising if he came back a few days early for Raw. Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that although not advertised, there's a chance Cena will be there on Monday. The Slammys are a major event and his presence would illuminate the show. Also, consider the fact that Cena is nominated for so many awards. Maybe his return will be accepting the award for Match Of The Year, as he's very likely to win that category with either his Kevin Owens bout from Elimination Chamber or his match against Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. With nearly eight million twitter followers, he's also got a great chance of winning the popularity vote which is the Superstar Of The Year. Being there to accept would be a must.
