11 WWE Stars Who Made Appearances For Other Promotions

Of all the outside appearances made by WWE guys, few can be deemed as surprising as the one made by the head honcho himself. On 25 May 2007, Vince McMahon showed up to a Chaotic Wrestling show, where he interfered in the main event, only to be hit with an F-U by none other than John Cena.

Confused? Don’t be.

The connection can be explained by the fact that Cena’s father, John Sr, worked for Chaotic Wrestling as a manager at the time, and so he seemingly pulled the Dad card and got his son to fill in as a special guest referee for the show’s main event.

Of course, the appearance of McMahon was a total surprise, as evidenced by the monster pop produced by the small crowd attending the show.

Apparently, the event was a fundraiser, designed to “to help John Cena and his family raise money for local police and M.A.D.D.” and so it seems like Vince was just showing up out of the goodness of his heart.

Either that, or he just can’t resist a chance to put Cena over…
