With the aforementioned three-way tie during the block round of the Super Junior Tag League, it meant that not two but three teams met in the finals at Power Struggle. Roppongi 3K, Los Ingobernables, and Suzuki-gun were all represented in the fast-paced, high-flying, and hard-hitting bout on Saturday.

With only one fall needed to decide the tournament's winners and only two men allowed in the ring at once, there were frequent blind tags and some occasional inadvertent team work among the groups. Toward the match’s end, however, things had devolved into a free-for-all as BUSHI sprayed Desperado with black mist while Kanemaru attempted to spray Sho with whiskey. Sho ducked, however, and planted Desperado with the Shock Arrow to get the win.

It was the second year in a row that Roppongi 3K ended up the tournament winners - though last year they were also the defending Junior Heavyweight champs. Following the match, Sho and Yoh officially challenged for Kanemaru and Desperado’s titles before departing with their tournament trophies. On Monday, however, New Japan officials announced that the Junior Heavyweight tag titles will be decided in yet another three-way at Wrestle Kingdom - a rematch of Saturday's Super Junior final.
