It should be noted that by this point in the pay-per-view, it was evident that the technical snafus that plagued the NWA’s 70th Anniversary show from January were nowhere to be seen. While that pay-per-view saw a wealth of audio issues, timing miscues, and general production maladies, Saturday’s packed Crockett Cup - with a total of eleven matches - ran smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.

January’s event broadcast was an in-house undertaking by the NWA, whereas Saturday’s Crockett Cup was done under the auspices of Ring of Honor’s production staff - a benefit of the Alliance's ongoing relationship with the Sinclair Broadcast Group-owned promotion.

While the final product was much improved, the NWA can’t simply rely on Ring of Honor’s production team to carry the load forever. Eventually the NWA are bound to find themselves in the position of having to again produce their own live broadcast. However, in the interim they seem content to rely on ROH’s assistance - perhaps providing them the time to better develop their own team and to iron out the kinks they experienced at the beginning of 2019.
