The Big Show has been with WWE for sixteen years now and has what is considered a lifetime contract. There was a year he had away from the company in 2007, but even then, he was still an obvious "WWE family" member. He's reportedly on $1.5 million a year. On top of this, he gets help with road expenses, including a personal tour bus and first class travel. Is he worth it? No. He's simply not a draw any more. WWE have done everything possible with the guy, to the point that they've made him insignificant. Watching The Big Show is like watching a repeat. He's undergone so many turns and angles, and he hasn't had a good match in years. As such, WWE are wasting their money. They could afford three solid midcarders for the price of one Big Show. There is a lot to be admired with Vince McMahon staying loyal to Show, but sentiment shouldn't necessarily mean a million dollar contract. You can reward his years of service without paying him through the roof.
