9. Ladder Match For The WWE Intercontinental Championship - WrestleMania 31
One year after capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to close out WrestleMania XXX, Daniel Bryan picked up right where he left off, entering Santa Clara's Levi's Stadium and defeated six other Superstars in a Ladder match to win the Intercontinental Championship. The match was mayhem, the ladder used as a weapon that wrecked the bodies of the Superstars involved. Bryan, still getting acclimated with the squared circle again after his year-long hiatus following neck surgery, took a beating but, as he had done so many times over the course of his career, he proved his resilience and fought back. Late in the match, the action surrounded him, Dolph Ziggler and Bad News Barrett. With the Brit out of the way, Bryan and Ziggler unloaded on each other. After a barrage of headbutts, Bryan sent Ziggler crashing to the match, reached up and retrieved the title. Chants of "YES!" filled the stadium and Bryan had one more WrestleMania moment under his belt.
