6. Maria Menounos IS Old School
Actress and TV presenter Maria Menounos got a little flak for appearing in the celebrity spot at WrestleMania XXVIII, taking on Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres with Kelly Kelly in a tag team match. That feud with Phoenix, however, actually went back years: Menounos had first fought the Glamazon in October 2009 in a six-woman tag match on RAW, and pinned her at the Tribute To The Troops in December 2011.
However, Menounos has always been a wrestling obsessive: she famously inducted former WWWF/WWF Champion Bob Backlund into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2013, not because no one else wanted to, but because she loved the man. Here’s her awesome take on Backlund’s legendary "I Feel Like God" promo.
Of course, she’s better remembered for doing a great American Dream, too. The day before she recorded this for WWE.com at WrestleMania 31, she got the chance to perform the "Hard Times" promo for the late Dusty Rhodes himself at the Hall Of Fame, only weeks before he passed away.
