After Chance, Moses, and a handcuffed meth head argue for a few minutes about Moses' obesity, Chance transforms his anger into that of a more mocking tone. Moses assures his more fit cop buddy that he can chase down the bad guys and Chance tells him how he believes in him in a voice that implies that he actually doesn't.

To illustrate his fake belief in Moses, Chance orders the user to run so he can be chased again. When the criminal is hesitant to comply he gets a gun pointed in his face that is backed up by a few choice words. Moses takes off after him and Chance screams out words of encouragement.
