We're not talking about Naked Mideon here, though that was horrifying in its own way! It's not exactly remembered by mainstream movie buffs, but Clive Barker (known from Hellraiser fame) wrote and directed the 1990 film Nightbreed, which has become something of a cult hit over the years. Following an unstable mental patient led to believe he's a vicious killer, the film winds up in a terrifying city named Midian located beneath a massive old and spooky cemetery. This is where monsters and other outcasts live, hiding from humanity. When Dennis Knight dropped his Pig farmer, and later Southern Justice gimmicks, he wound up working under his own name for a bit, before being taken in by the Ministry of Darkness and rechristened as - you guessed it - Midian. Though the spelling would later be changed to Mideon, the character was obviously dark, creepy, and borrowed from the horror world. And then he started wrestling in a fanny pack.
