12 Great Wrestling Matches You'll Never Watch Again (And Why)

9. Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe (TNA Turning Point 2009)

Steven Haworth is better known to most wrestling fans as Nigel McGuinness. During his time in Ring Of Honor, McGuinness routinely starred in the best and most hard-hitting matches of the night. Due to this, the Englishman started being courted by WWE. Medical problems would prevent him from living that particular dream however, and he ended up plying his trade in TNA. It was there that he'd contract Hepatitis, an affliction which stopped his wrestling career dead. Thankfully, before he was forced from the ring, the guy was able to contest some utterly stunning bouts with Kurt Angle. Known as Desmond Wolfe in TNA, Haworth seemed eager to prove himself all over again against the Olympic Gold Medal winner. Most fans will likely point to the '3 Degrees Of Pain' outing between the pair at Final Resolution in December, 2009. That match has become the reference point for Wolfe's time in TNA, but he also pieced together another great bout with Angle. At Turning Point in November, the pair had a 16-minute epic. A lot of fans are unlikely to pick out Turning Point '09 as worthwhile watching, meaning the match has been largely forgotten about.
