5. Bret Hart vs. Hakushi (WWF In Your House 1)

The idea behind the 'In Your House' series of Pay-Per-View events was to bridge the gap between major shows. Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, King Of The Ring, SummerSlam and Survivor Series were adjudged to be too far apart for Vince McMahon. Thus, the cheaper In Your House events would pump money in WWF coffers and give fans even more action. It was win-win. The 2-hour PPV shows struggled to really tempt people. The very first one took place in May, 1995, and actually opened up with one of the best WWF bouts of the year. Bret Hart was due to wrestle twice, eventually facing Jerry 'The King' Lawler in a grudge match. Before that however, he faced the under-rated Hakushi in the first match of the show. Perhaps surprisingly, the bout ended up being a hidden gem. Sadly, In Your House 1 isn't listed on many sites talking about must-see Pay-Per-Views. Overall, the card was pretty dire.
