12 Greatest Ever Fictional Wrestlers

10. The Foreigner - Futurama

Okay, fine. The Foreigner isn't technically a wrestler, per se. He competed in Futurama's Ultimate Robot Fighting League, which is halfway between pro wrestling and BattleBots; Mick Foley would love it. But all the Ultimate Robot Fighters have gimmicks, the matches are rigged, and it's my article, so here we are.

All of the villainous robots are straight out of the 1980's heel handbook, including Billionairebot and the Chainsmoker ("I love smokin', and after the show I'm headin' right for YOUR FAVORITE RRSTAURANT"). But the best of these is the aptly-named Foreigner, an all-purpose hateful immigrant parodying everyone from the Iron Sheik to Ludvig Borga. He's got a handlebar mustache, a bolero jacket, he's not even trying to maintain an accent, and he carries a threatening passport. This is going to sound like I'm a worryingly big fan of early 80's AOR (which is true albeit unrelated), but Foreigner 4 life.
