12 Greatest Fictional Hometowns In Wrestling History

7. Planet Funk

Brodus Clay wasn't the first wrestler to commute from outer space; the 90's gave us Max Moon, and as early as the 1960's there was "Spaceman" Frank Hickey. However, Clay may have been the first to explicitly identify the heavenly body from which he hailed. We never found out too much about the exact location or ecosystem of Planet Funk, but here's what we do know:

- Planet Funk is home to a species of humanoid dinosaurs called Funkasauruses

- The Funkasaurus is extinct in the wild

- Brodus Clay is the only survivor of his race, even in captivity

WWE missed the boat by not publishing a companion comic about how Brodus was rocketed to Earth by his desperate parents a la Superman, to use his space dinosaur powers for good (the greatest good, is, of course, wrestling Heath Slater squash matches).
