12 Huge AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

11. House Of Black vs. Death Triangle

Death Triangle House Of Black
AEW

This feud has moved like a glacier. Much of this comes from Rey Fenix's injury, as the high-flier was forced to miss much of 2022 after going down earlier in the year, but AEW's ridiculous insistence on dressing Alex Abrahantes manager up like a boogeyman at a children's Halloween party for months on end didn't help either. Hokey and unengaging, the storytelling has undermined two lethal trios who look nonetheless look set to deliver Double Or Nothing's biggest adrenaline-pumper.

Expect breathless brilliance. House Of Black vs. Death Triangle will hit hard and move fast. Fenix will fly around like a lunatic, Brody King will use human bodies as projectiles, PAC and Buddy Matthews will reprise their incredible Revolution sequences, and Malakai Black and Penta Oscuro will bring the starch. PAC will likely anchor it too, ensuring the match never gets too overly caffeinated for its own good.

The House should win. AEW may be waiting for Kenny Omega's return, but Black, King, and Matthews have "first Trios Champions" written all over them. Triumphing in another Revolution-calibre bombfest would be an appropriate appetiser for that.

Winners: House Of Black
