12 Huge WWE Dream Matches That Were Supposed To Happen But Didn’t

11. Muhammad Hassan Vs Batista (SummerSlam 2005)

Before Muhammad Hassan was unceremoniously booted off of television WWE had big, big plans for him. You didn't think WWE had Hassan rub shoulders with Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker for a laugh, did you? No, Hassan was a man who WWE saw as a future main event player, this generation's Iron Sheik. Problem was that Hassan, despite being a heat magnet and decent promo, had a pedestrian ring style and did his best to alienate or annoy the majority of the veterans backstage. Despite this, WWE planned to continue the Hassan push and he was slated to wrestle (and beat) Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of SummerSlam in Batista's hometown of Washington D.C. The match never happened after UPN demanded Hassan be taken off WWE TV following a controversial angle on Smackdown. But can you imagine the scenes at SummerSlam if the aforementioned scenario had actually taken place?
