12 Interesting Historical WWE Royal Rumble Facts

12. Chyna Made History, But...

Chyna started off in the WWE back in 1997 as the bodyguard of Degeneration X. She was such a physically imposing figure that we had never really seen from a female participant in the WWE at the brink of the Attitude Era. After a couple of years, Chyna started to become a competitor in the women's division, and made history back in 1999 being the first woman to ever enter the Royal Rumble. There have now been a total of three women to be in the match with Beth Phoenix and Kharma as well. Chyna may have made history by being the first woman to enter the Royal Rumble and first woman to eliminate someone in the Royal Rumble; however, she has a very poor track record for her total three appearances. In those three appearances, she has had a total of 72 seconds inside the ring. That is a pitiful average of only 24 seconds per appearance in the match. It definitely ranks up there for worst career Rumble participant with multiple appearances.
