12 Key Moments From 2015 WWE Royal Rumble Match

8. Bray Wyatt Eliminates Daniel Bryan Early To Deflate Then Turn The Crowd

Daniel Bryan entered the Royal Rumble as one of the prohibitive favorites after his return this past month. It almost seemed that since his comeback coincided with the Royal Rumble, the WWE was going to right the wrong that they served the WWE Universe last year when Batista won the Royal Rumble. That would have been a comeback story for the ages to come back from the serious neck surgeries that he went through to be able to have a chance at another Wrestlemania moment. Bryan entered the Royal Rubmle at #10 and was in the ring all alone with his 2014 Royal Rumble opponent, Bray Wyatt; who had taken out five entrants in a row from the 3rd to 7th man eliminated. Wyatt and Bryan would continue to battle as the ring filled up with superstars such as Tyson Kidd, Fandango, Stardust, and DDP. Rusev would then come in and do quite a bit of damage to Bryan while he was on the apron before Bray Wyatt finished him off. The elimination deflated the crowd at first, and then it turned to rage for the rest of the way as the WWE Universe wanted Daniel Bryan to win. Many thought he would at least last longer than he did as he was only in the ring for just over 10 minutes, and wrestlers such as Big E, Jack Swagger, and Stardust lasted longer.
