6. ...But It Can Go Too Far

Having said that, this wasn't exactly the kind of crowd to pull any punches. Peyton Royce was unfairly compared unfavourably to Eva Marie (despite some of the crowd jumping to her defence); Hugo Knox's penis size was questioned (inferring something more nefarious); Angelo Dawkins was met with relentless D'Lo Brown chants (which he eventually adopted in the later show); and there was also some homophobia and sexism thrown in for good measure. It wasn't pointed, by any means, but it's not the kind of thing Vince needs.

It was somewhat inevitable: as soon as crowd reactions take off, there's always someone there who fancies himself wittier and darker who oversteps the line of decency or fairness. And while the wrestlers are grown up enough to not let it phase them, you have to wonder how Vince McMahon or Triple H would react, and whether it's that sort of behaviour that might reflect badly on any attempt to get WrestleMania to Britain.

That might sound extreme, but it wasn't all comfortable to endure.
