12 MMA Fighters Who Could Save WWE

4. Cristiane 'Cyborg' Justino

Now signed to UFC specifically to add fuel to the flames of those trying to make a Cyborg/Rousey fight happen, the 29 year old Cristiane Justino Venancio would be a bomb underneath the ass of the divas€™ division. 5 foot 8 inches tall and currently weighing in at 145 pounds, Cyborg would comfortably outdistance most of the divas in size alone. She€™s like a ripped Terminator€ Justino doesn€™t just beat her opponents, she flattens them, pulverises them. The current Invicta FC world featherweight champion is 13-1 in MMA and, like Cain Velasquez, has achieved 11 of her victories via knockout. At present, there€™s an ongoing issue surrounding any potential fight with Rousey: Justino would need to drop weight to 135 pounds to qualify for the class Rousey competes in, a feat that she says she can accomplish, but which might endanger her health. Rousey€™s hyping it for all she€™s worth, refusing to come up to Justino€™s weight or meet her halfway, and busting her balls over her 2012 suspension and fine for failing a drug test for steroids€ nonetheless, there are many that wonder whether such a fight will happen, and whether it€™s worth damaging either fighter€™s intimidating aura and reputation for such a payout. In WWE, Justino wouldn€™t have to worry about such a thing. WWE€™s attempted to push monsters in womens€™ wrestling before, most notably with Luna Vachon, Chyna, Beth Phoenix and Kharma. Cyborg retains something of the characteristics of each. If WWE is serious about giving Divas a chance, the division needs new blood and credibility: and if there are two things that Justino is about, it€™s blood and cred.
