12 Most Brutal WWE Chair Shots

11. The Hardys On Brock Lesnar (Raw, Apr 8, 2002)

Entering that feud with The Undertaker within six months of making his debut may sound like a baptism of fire for Lesnar, but he'd been paying his dues since way before then.

On the 8 April 2002 showing of Raw—in what was only his second-ever televised appearance—Lesnar’s head became the punch bag for a pair of chair-wielding Hardys, as Jeff and Matt took turns laying it into the new kid on the block.

Lesnar had been single-handedly destroying the Hardys, but when setting up Matt for a powerbomb, he was caught square between the eyes by a full-blooded swing from Jeff. Somehow it only staggered him, at which point Matt got in on the act to send Lesnar scarpering from the ring, but again it was that first shot from Jeff that sounded like it packed the bigger punch.

Given this penchant for getting bashed over the head, perhaps it isn’t too surprising that Lesnar would eventually transition to the world of MMA.
