12 Most Paused Moments In AEW History
4. An Exploding Superkick
As already highlighted on this list (and will be once again before its conclusion), the consistently fantastic Stadium Stampede/Anarchy in the Arena stipulation has brought some of the most creative and memorable moments in AEW history to fans' screens.
Oh, and also some of the most explosive.
It's a chaotic match that just needs to be rewatched thanks to the sheer amount of ludicrous carnage going down across the venue. It's very easy to miss something with so much madness going on.
But even when you do catch them, the various innovative spots and bumps themselves are often too good to watch just the one time. And some are even so mind-blowing and unexpected, you're left pausing and rewinding just to figure out how they pulled off the damn thing.
That certainly applies to Matt Jackson's exhilarating exploding superkick on Jon Moxley during Double or Nothing 2023's Anarchy in the Arena brawl.
But the Young Buck performed the nutty kick of fire to the face so effectively, all the pausing in the world still doesn't offer the truth behind how he achieved this magical sneaker eruption.
All we know is that Matt had to get a special Nevada State Fire Performers license before exploding Mox's head that night.
That wasn't the last hot piece of Elite action to go down during this stip either...
