During his initial stint with WWE back in 1993, Raven became good friends with Shane McMahon, and would often take him out partying until the early hours of the morning. Needless to say, he was seen as something of a bad influence by Vince, who was apparently subjected to numerous drunken phone-calls from his wayward son. Not only did Raven's exploits with Shane earn him heat from the boss - it also made him a less popular figure on the locker room. Many of "the boys" believed him to be sucking up the McMahon family as a result of this friendship. The lesson is simple: don't take the Boss' son binge-drinking.
