4. Storytelling Always Trumps Workrate
Raven gives props to Jericho for his excellent match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIX, but confesses that his favourite match from that event is actually the Street Fight between Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan. He explains that, in his opinion, storytelling is always far more important than workrate when it comes to drawing a big crowd reaction. Raven even sneaks in a thinly-veiled shot at TNA-style crowds, claiming "you can't be that emotionally involved if you're chanting 'let's go Joe', or whoever". The workrate versus storytelling debate is an interesting one which will continue to rage, but it's clear what side of the fence Raven sits on.
