Before ever coming up against each other on screen, Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle wrestled for real. It was backstage at a WWE show, with the entire roster watching and encouraging the two men to see who the better grappler was. Not much is known about what happened, but Kurt Angle apparently got the better of the rookie. That's pretty impressive when you consider Brock's youth and size advantage. Needless to say, details of the friendly skirmish managed to leak out to the dirtsheets. Although Vince McMahon wasn't happy, it was actually a wonderful thing, because just the idea of it managed to get fans excited and talking about these two legitimate beasts.
