12 Signs WWE Fans Should Never Get Their Own Way

1. John Cena Should Turn Heel

For as long as the man wrestles, there will always be wrestling fans screaming from the rooftops that John Cena needs to turn heel. Looking at things from an outside-the-box perspective, Cena is already a heel to a portion of the WWE audience. More often than not, the guy gets louder boos ringing out at him than many of the top villains on the roster. John Cena exists in a weird place. To many young children, he's a 'holier than thou' hero who can do no wrong. To a lot of adults - predominantly male - he's a sickening example of everything that's wrong with the 'PG' Era. This means he can be at once both babyface and heel, all without changing a thing. With that in mind, there's really no need for an obvious heel turn. It's been said that adults would start cheering Cena if he ditched many of the childish mannerisms he uses regularly. That oversimplifies things a little, people have long since decided to boo the man before he has even appeared before them. If Cena did attack a major babyface and turn heel, the buzz would be short-lived. People at large wouldn't really treat him any other way, Cena himself would just lose a fair bunch of merchandise sales from the kiddie market.
