12 Signs WWE Fans Should Never Get Their Own Way

6. The 'Female Revolution' Angle Is Dying

For years, many wrestling fans have complained that WWE fail to take women's wrestling seriously. This year, the promotion's top brass took matters into their own hands and made steps to change that. Out of nowhere, the Diva division went from being paper-thin to festooned with talent. The likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch have helped flesh it out nicely. When Nikki Bella was WWE Divas Champion, people were excited to see her inevitably lose the belt to one of the incoming NXT females. That happened at Night Of Champions, and the crowd seemed excited for what the future held for women's wrestling in the company. Charlotte was the beneficiary, and the future seemed bright. Crowd reactions haven't been the same since. WWE's track record precedes them. If they don't see fans responding favourably to women such as Charlotte, Banks or Lynch, they'll go cold on the idea of pushing them. Wrestling is fickle, so it's silly to sit back and claim that the 'female revolution' in the company is failing. People wanted more focus on women, and WWE provided it. There shouldn't be a problem.
