12 Stone Cold Steve Austin Moments That Were Genuinely Savage
10. Vince In The Steel Cage
The Corporation feud was a WWE box office smash, and the St Valentine's Day Massacre was the latter act of Austin's weekly run of beating the holy crap out of Vince McMahon. Despite all the previous hammerings, the boss was good for one more, this time in a steel cage.
It wasn't really a match. It was an invitation for the Rattlesnake to continue putting Vince through the ringer, this time by bouncing him from literal pillar to post, to the point that the medics were forced to intervene.
It was at this stage that Steve called 'BS' on the match and used the "bell-never-rang" loophole to wheel the chairman back into the ring for one final beasting. His insatiable desire to physically ruin a defenceless billionaire almost cost him his road to Wrestlemania, as The Big Show made his WWE debut and sided, by default, with The Corporation.
All things considered, it was a thoroughly entertaining segment, and once again showed Austin's inability to stop at the line like a decent well-behaved wrestler.
