9. Refusing To Properly Build New Talent In Recent Years
This one could end up even higher on the list in future years if someone doesn't step up and get in Vince's head about what he's doing wrong. If you were to ask most WWE fans to name the biggest problem with the current product, a large majority of them would tell you something along the lines of the company's ridiculous dependence on John Cena, and to a lesser extent, Randy Orton. No matter what star comes along and captures the attention and adoration of the WWE Universe, they generally aren't trusted to be in the top tier, and it's Cena and Orton who get those pushes yet again. Even if you're a fan of Cena and/or Orton, you have to be frustrated with WWE's inability to book for the future. People have come, and people have gone, but the same few main eventers remain with the company, and it doesn't look like they'll be out of the main event title picture at any point soon. Now, there are plenty of younger talents that fans want to see grab the "brass ring" that is always talked about. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, and even Daniel Bryan are among those names, and that isn't even counting the top talents in NXT. The future looks tremendously bright, roster wise, but with ratings, money, and ticket sales sliding down further and further by the year, how many current fans will still be around if and when WWE finally decides to pull the trigger on booking for their future?
