Easily one of the most infamous storyline happenings in wrestling history, let alone WWF/WWE history. It was pretty off-the-wall when Mark Henry, in his "Sexual Chocolate" gimmick of basically wanting to sleep with any woman with a pulse, was in a sexual relationship with Mae Young, who was 77 years old at the time. When they announced ol' Mizark had gotten Mae pregnant, everyone began groaning and rolling their eyes. It was the Attitude Era, so it's not like the WWF wasn't trying to push any button they could think of with their stories and characters at the time, but was anyone truly prepared for a storyline like this? If you're taking wrestling seriously, the whole thing was stupid because of the logic gap in a 77-year-old being pregnant. If you're not taking wrestling seriously, the whole thing was stupid because... well... it was gross. Oddly enough, there was one saving grace for this, but it wouldn't happen for 12 years. On the 1000th episode of Raw, Mae made an appearance with what appeared to be a grown man dressed in a hand suit, even though it was supposed to be a pre-teen, but I guess when you've given birth to a hand, that kind of logic goes out the window. It was a "wink wink nudge nudge" reference to the storyline with Henry that had people laughing, so all's well that ends well, apparently.
