12 Superstars WWE Royal Rumble 2016 Proved Are Struggling
2. Rusev - Eliminated By Roman Reigns
Last year, Rusev came out at WrestleMania on a tank to face John Cena, now he's flung out of the Rumble in just over a minute by Roman Reigns. How the mighty have fallen. Luckily, Rusev would return with the League of Nations later in the night and attack Reigns. Even though the Bulgarian Brute got to shine a little there, it's tough times for the Rusev character. One minute he's with Lana, the next minute she's not there, next week he's with the League of Nations - there's no continuity to his character. Rusev is at his best when he's a monster. With Del Rio as US Champ and Sheamus just coming off a WWE World Title reign, Rusev is at the bottom of the pecking order in the League of Nations and his elimination last night confirmed it. Rusev could be one of the WWE's best money drawing heels if they present him as such. At the moment, he's verging into becoming just another guy on the roster who's been beaten by everyone and doesn't mean a lot to the audience anymore.
