12 Things You Need To Know About Sting's WWE Deal And Future
6. He's Already Worked For McMahon
Technically, Sting has already worked for Vince McMahon. The Survivor Series appearance was sold as Sting's first WWE involvement, but there's a couple of cases that prove otherwise. For example, the final ever WCW Nitro was not a WCW show. The WWF had bought the company and was fully in charge of production that night. Sting was working under Vince McMahon's orders for the evening. The Stinger main evented that final Nitro against Ric Flair, in a match booked by the WWF. Additionally, Sting appeared on a WWE production earlier in 2014. He talked candidly on the Ultimate Warrior documentary that WWE produced after Warrior's untimely death. That interview was an early sign of Sting's informal deal with Vince.
