For the avoidance of any doubt, Hulk Hogan, and the creation of the 'Hulkamania' brand was sheer marketing genius. It could be argued that everything fell nicely into place for McMahon during this time, but he had the vision to create something bigger than any wrestler had been before, and Hogan was the perfect man to fill that role. Larger-than-life and a household name, Hogan helped McMahon cement the then-WWF as a company almost everyone in the Western hemisphere was aware of. Without that vision, who knows where WWE would be today?
