12 Times Brock Lesnar Lost Clean

3. Royal Rumble Match - Royal Rumble 2016

Brock Lesnar rebounded after the Triple H loss, to put it mildly. In 2014, he ended The Undertaker's streak, then decimated John Cena to regain the WWE Championship. Though he lost the belt at WrestleMania 31, he wasn't pinned, and he rekindled his feud with Undertaker later in the year.

By 2016, though, it seemed like WWE wasn't sure what to do with Lesnar - they still wanted to portray him as the top wrestler in the company, but without giving him the title back. He entered the 2016 Royal Rumble - where Roman Reigns's WWE Championship was on the line - but was considered a longshot to win the whole thing.

The prevailing wisdom turned out to be correct. Lesnar entered the Royal Rumble at #23, eliminating the likes of Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman, and Luke Harper, but when "The Beast" faced off with Bray Wyatt, the eliminated acolytes of "The Eater of Worlds" jumped in the ring, triple-teamed Lesnar, and tossed him.

Maybe this elimination wasn't totally above board given that Harper, Rowan, and Strowman were already supposed to be out of the match, but again, none of the Royal Rumble's rules were broken.
