After the Cena loss, Lesnar moved on to a controversial program with Triple H. Again, doubts regarding Lesnar's standing with the company affected booking, as "The Game" prematurely stopped selling an arm injury he suffered at "The Beast's" hands when Brock seemed to be on the outs. Ultimately, cooler heads prevailed, and Lesnar submitted HHH at SummerSlam 2012.
Triple H teased retirement, but it all led to a rematch at WrestleMania 29. This time, HHH officially put his career on the line in a No Disqualification bout, meeting Lesnar at MetLife Stadium. Like in the Cena match, many a weapon came into play, and the ring steps were ultimately Brock's undoing - a Pedigree on top of them ensured that "The Game" scored the pin and lived to fight another day.
HHH and Lesnar had a rubber match at Extreme Rules, battling in a steel cage bout that saw Lesnar victorious, but the best-remembered bout of their trilogy was the underwhelming 'Mania encounter that saw Brock pick up another ill-advised loss.
